Our new album 'Moros En la Costa' is an old popular Hispanic expression meaning "Moors On The Coast".

The origin of this phrase comes from a time where the Moors, inhabitants of north Africa, used to invade from the sea and sack coastal villages in Spain.

Throughout the years in the Caribbean, it became a popular expression alerting that there are children present and adult conversations should not occur, or a warning that a certain dangerous presence can be listening to our conversations.

Our conceptual album touches upon the latter including espionage practices from the Cold War up to the present day, with that feeling that our freedom is constantly challenged by outside entities.
Instrumental songs such as Man In The Middle, Kompromat, Stasi Romeo and Honeytrap, are examples of these practices.

The single 'Loaded Gun', (the only vocal tune on the album), is a collaboration with vocalist Daniel Gutiérrez (from Mexico's premier Latin Rock band "La Gusana Ciega"). A bitter sweet tune regarding a post breakup and distrust between two lovers who happen to be spies. "I need a Loaded Gun 'cause I'm falling in love" dictates the danger involved with this couple. True story? Maybe for some of you out there?...
